Last update for the moment...

I've joined another forum...... Scrap pile. Another lovely friendly bunch of ladies that sure like to talk. They are running a fabulous competition called the Lazy Days of Summer. It's running over six weeks and has a wonderful prize at the end. The first week of this comp was a water theme and we had to use paint somehow. I splattered paint over the background - that was so much fun - I also used glimmermist on the flourishes and H2O's on the monster.
This one is a sketch challenge for Scrap With V.
And this is my entry for January's Black With 2 challenge blog. The criteria was black background, crisp white, snowflakes, glitter and lace.

A hot chocolate challenge at Scrapbudz....using chocolate background, orange and white. I wasn't sure about the colour combination but I think I made it work.
This one, I'm afraid, is a total lift. I saw it in a magazine and really liked it, so I copied it. I had these photos of Declan and Avram wrestling one day and knew they would be perfect for this page.

Another two from the Scrapbudz cc....the top one is one of my challenges....54321 Christmas countdown. 5 Christmas embellishments, 4 different colours, 3 layers in one section of the LO, 2 word title and 1 photo. The one below was a blind challenge. The circle around the "photo bauble" is acetate. Again I changed a few things around to suit myself.

I used the last sheet of pp from my Scrapbudz DT pack to make some cards. I also got a packet of "U" letters from a friend for Christmas. I wasn't sure what I was going to do with them and then thought they were perfect for these cards.


These 2 are from the scrapbudz cc....we were given a site with the instructions and we all went from there. There were a few different sets of instructions so I did two different versions. Again using Kaiser papers.

Scrapbudz cc......double page LO challenge set for us....had to use non traditional colours, lots of photos and silver. So my non traditional colour just had to be pink!!!
I set the OTP challenge....using a paper doily or part thereof and 2 other non-scrappy items.

Another update of my work.....

Scrapbudz had their cc that ended up running from November through to January. The regulars all contributed a challenge or two each and we ended with 7 challenges to do. The LO above is from a sketch challenge. The sketch is from Kaiser's Q1 mag. I used some of my really old papers for this one. It's Braiden with Mum opening presents for his first Christmas.

This one we were given basic instructions to make a Christmas decoration. I kind of fiddled with the instructions to suit myself and then made two decorations.
This is my DT page for Shabbychic Butterflys and Bows challenge for January. We had to use gold, a sheet of music and/or a Christmas verse.

Haven't been here for a bit....life got way too chaotic over Christmas and I barely had time to scratch!!!
